Equipping our K-12 & Career Techs with career programming relevant to in-demand industries and skills for the region. Join and learn how quickly the in-demand skills of our region are changing and how you play a key role. Rooted in current regional data coupled with practical experiences in industry and education. Workforce Innovation Center, WIC, serves as a conduit for education, industry and community to be best prepared for the in-demand career pathways of today and the future. Focusing on three key audiences which include Teachers & Staff, Students and Parents WIC delivers direct connectivity for education and industry. Mechanisms which serve to deliver desired results include: Career Chats, Industry Professional Panels, Mock Interviews, relationship development between schools and industry. Current partners include: Delaware Area Career Center, Jonathan Alder Local School District.

Tim Harman, Workforce Innovation Center, Sr. Consultant, Workforce, Innovation, and Diversity

Tim is a workforce expert with over 15 years of experience. Tim delivers a successful track record of implementing workforce development, community engagement, and cultural awareness strategies with multiple Fortune 500 companies including Ashland Inc, Quantum Health, MGM Resorts and Amazon (AWS) while working directly with colleges and schools including Columbus State, Groveport Madison, Jonathan Alder, and Delaware Area Career Center to ignite Career Technical Pathways for the Future of Work. Tim is a current member of the Columbus Region Workforce Advisory Council and the Advisory Board for FESTA, a non-profit focused on welcoming new Americans.
